Chile has a variety of foods, including seafood, beef, fresh fruit, and vegetables. in Chile we have a lot of popular popular dishes, old and young people like it, because could be prepared in many ways. The most popular dish according to the survey are Pastel de Choclo and Curanto en Hoyo.
-“Pastel de Choclo” is a typical Chilean summer dish, ground corn and meat, chopped onions small pieces of chicken, pieces of hard boiled egg, olive raisins - baked in clay or regular oven.

-“Curanto en Hoyo” is a typical dish from the south of Chile. Traditionally prepared by heating fish, seafood, potatoes, some meat, milcaos and types of bread over red hot rocks in a hole in the ground. The food is wrapped in big leaves and then covered with dirt so that it slowly cooks over a number of hours, it is similar to a hangi in New Zealand or curanto en olla they are the same ingredients as the Curanto en Hoyo only that it is cooked in a pot instead of under the ground, but is the same.

-One of the least popular dishes is “Güatitas”, It is a kind of stew made with carrots, green beans, peas, pepper and pork, which is the stomach of the pig and the meat has a lot of muscles, so it is really hard to eat. But there are a few people eat it, because it has a bad smell and strange taste, the children hate Güatitas.

-The other least popular dish is “Prietas”, it made of the blood of the pig, garlic, oregano, onion, salt, and different condiments. Then all of these ingredients are inside a gut of the pig, all the people don´t like it because is has a really bad taste.

I would like to recommend to the people who can visit our country taste some of these dishes, because they have to prefer healthy food, like a Chilean food, so it is definitely delicious and Chile has a lot of variety of dishes with different kind of ingredients, Chilean food is one of the best in the world.
