Report: Chilean Food

Chile has a variety of foods, including seafood, beef, fresh fruit, and vegetables. in Chile we have a lot of popular popular dishes, old and young people like it, because could be prepared in many ways. The most popular dish according to the survey are Pastel de Choclo and Curanto en Hoyo.

-“Pastel de Choclo” is a typical Chilean summer dish, ground corn and meat, chopped onions small pieces of chicken, pieces of hard boiled egg, olive raisins - baked in clay or regular oven.

-“Curanto en Hoyo” is a typical dish from the south of Chile. Traditionally prepared by heating fish, seafood, potatoes, some meat, milcaos and types of bread over red hot rocks in a hole in the ground. The food is wrapped in big leaves and then covered with dirt so that it slowly cooks over a number of hours, it is similar to a hangi in New Zealand or curanto en olla they are the same ingredients as the Curanto en Hoyo only that it is cooked in a pot instead of under the ground, but is the same.

-One of the least popular dishes is “Güatitas”, It is a kind of stew made with carrots, green beans, peas, pepper and pork, which is the stomach of the pig and the meat has a lot of muscles, so it is really hard to eat. But there are a few people eat it, because it has a bad smell and strange taste, the children hate Güatitas.

-The other least popular dish is “Prietas”, it made of the blood of the pig, garlic, oregano, onion, salt, and different condiments. Then all of these ingredients are inside a gut of the pig, all the people don´t like it because is has a really bad taste.

I would like to recommend to the people who can visit our country taste some of these dishes, because they have to prefer healthy food, like a Chilean food, so it is definitely delicious and Chile has a lot of variety of dishes with different kind of ingredients, Chilean food is one of the best in the world.

Nothing can be done to save the environment

I am totally disagree with the statement, because people always can do something to save the environment.

If we want to do that, people have to think how they can try to save our earth, for example recycled everything such as; paper, glass, cardboard, plastic, iron, garbage, etc. Decontaminated the air, clean streets, take care the water and animals, plant trees because they clean the air, reducing the traffic pollution, etc. But it isn’t impossible do that, people have to pay more attention to what is happening in our world and then must work very hard. They have to do a collaborative effort and increase public awareness and activism on today's most important environmental issues. If people do these simple actions we will have clean planet for ever.

In my point of view, I think we need to make people aware of the environmental problems and then give them steps that people can take to help save the environment.
We have to inform our children and give them more culture about this and other ways to save our planet. If the people do the same things can make a difference in making some small changes to the way that you do things at home or other place, you are gradually making a difference, even as an individual. You will save on costs and improve your health at the same time, so helping to save the environment is a totally altruistic exercise; maybe we can create ways where people could take care of the our planet and Global warming for example In your home conserve energy, reduce toxicity, use less water, protect our water, protect our air, create less trash, clean your yard. We can help to do this every day when we do those little things and don’t destroy the earth.

A bit Embarrased

Once, I was on the bus with my cousin when something happened… we were sitting in the seat and we were talking and laughing about different things that we have lived, when we were talking the bus run very fast… Suddenly the bus took the next left turn and then I was very distracted with my cousin and suddenly I fell badly on the floor and I put my hand in my face, but there were a lot of people on the bus, they were looking to me, because they thought that I was crying or I had injured, but I wasn´t crying and I didn´t have a injured , I put my hand in my face, because I felt very embarrassed I didn´t want that the people look me, but some people stood up very quickly in order to try to help me but I didn´t know what I should do.

Should computer based programmes or studying online replace real classes?

Today we are living in the comunication time, and the most important is time, but some people think that learn is studying online or in the websites or have access to a computer is a oportunity for to learn about some specific subject .
Also, studing online could have some advantages for example you have the oportunity to know a new people or comunicate with them and have conversations by chats with them, or if you have to go to work in different places or you have to do a lot of things you can work in your own place using the web, you can obtain and search all information that you require for to do it. But not always computers help people to do work or things, because some people use computrers for to do bad things like a pornography or pedophilia, etc. Or sometimes students get distracted with other websites when they have to do their homeworks or other things related with the subject, I think they are disadvantages.
In my point of view I think it is better to study in a real class than on line classes , because If people have doubts about something they can ask at the same time to the teacher or other person who can help them when they are learnig and in this way is when they can increase and practice their habilities and knowledge, but if they are studying online is difficult to do that.

National Park

The Peak District is an upland area in central and northern England, mainly spanning Derbyshire, but also covering bits of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire and South and West Yorkshire. Most of the area became the first national park in the nation.

It is conventionally split into the northern Dark Peak, where most of the moorland is found, and the southern White Peak, where most of the population lives. The park's controlling authority claims it to be the world's second most popular national park.

The White Peak is underlain with early Carboniferous limestone, which produces numerous caves - this is sometimes known as Karst topography. Under the Dark Peak lie shales and sandstones of the late Carboniferous millstone grit.

Much of the Peak, and its adjacent areas, approximates to the structure of an eroded dome. The coal measures of the carboniferous lie just outside the district, especially on the eastern edge. Then, moving inwards, come the gritstone edges, the shales, and in the central region the limestone of the White Peak.

Amy Greenhouse says no, no, no.

In this video Amy was protesting because the people don`t want a runway because it will produce pollution for the planet, so the idea was they want to stop the airport expansion and amy was protesting about the climate. But some people said sometimes the changes are good.
But in my case I think protest sometimes is bad because not always we can have better conditions and answers...
